With the rise of COVID, we wanted to do our part to bring some cheer to those who had to isolate. In the late spring of 2020, the Battle River Pipes and Drums toured a wide number of communities belonging to their band members. These communities ranged anywhere from Wainwright, to Viking, Sedgewick, Veteran, Camrose and numerous towns in between.

At these locations, the BRPD visited senior homes, hospitals and lodges with the mission of bring joy to at least one person. 

​

With social distancing become a longer term reality than in person gatherings, this may be an informal event that we continue in Spring 2021. Stay tuned for if we continue the tour in 2021.
