Battle River Pipes and Drums and Flagstaff Scottish Club would like to send out thanks to every person who came out to our 5th Gathering of the Clans Highland Festival. Utmost thanks go out to our sponsors, far too many to list here, but please take a moment to view the entire list below.
Thank you to everyone who wore a purple volunteer T-shirt and kept all the machinery of our event running smoothly. Thanks to our amazing entertainers and musicians, vendors, old time demonstrators, beasties small and tall, heavy events participants and pros, pipe bands and of course, Clans Hay, Buchanan and Wallace! Thank you to everyone who bought rafflebox tickets to support our band. Congratulations to the winner of our 50/50 Margaret Robinson who took home the $4525 prize! Thank you to everyone who participated.
ABOUT
The Gathering of the Clans Highland Festival is a public event hosted in Sedgewick, Alberta.
​
It's a day full of highland activities, such as Heavy Events, highland dancing, festival entertainers, a petting zoo, artisan and food vendors, and more. The day concludes with a Cèilidh (dance) (pronounced kay-ley) performed by the River Jack's.
